Welcome to Beyond Therapy in Brandon, MS

The dynamic team at Beyond Therapy consists of a group of speech language pathologists, physical therapists and occupational therapists. Each are uniquely skilled in creating evidence-based therapy interventions that seem like play and are fun for children! We are the place where therapy meets play.

Kenley Smith, MOTR/L, BCP
Clinic Director, Senior Therapist
Kenley graduated from MS State University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and graduated from The University of MS Medical Center in 2012 with a Master of Occupational Therapy degree. Kenley has additional training in pediatric CIMT (Constraint Induced Movement Therapy, primitive reflex integration, pediatric feeding therapy, and is AOTA Board Certified in Pediatrics. Kenley enjoys working with pediatric feeding disorders, sensory processing disorder, integration of primitive reflexes, daily life skills, and with visual motor/perception disorders. She resides in Brandon, Ms, with her husband and twin daughters.

Abigail Griffin Scott, M.S., CCC-SLP
Abby graduated from Mississippi University for Women with a Bachelor of Science in Communicative Disorders. In 2018, she graduated with a Master of Science in Communicative Sciences and Disorders to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Her career began in the adult rehabilitation setting which allowed for ample opportunity to train in swallowing disorders and neuro-rehabilitation before moving to a pediatric clinic. Transitioning to pediatrics, she enjoys working with apraxia of speech, swallowing and feeding disorders, and specific language impairments. Abby resides in Brandon with her husband, Tyler.

Sarah Beth Putt, OTR/L
Sarah Beth graduated from Mississippi State University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. In 2017, she graduated from the University of Mississippi Medical Center with a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy. Sarah Beth enjoys working with the integration of primitive reflexes, attention deficit disorders, and pediatric feeding disorders. She resides in Flowood with her husband and son.

Faith Harris, DPT
Faith is a 2018 graduate of the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. She graduated from The University of MS Medical Center in 2021 with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree. Faith enjoys working with children who have spina bifida, balance disorders, and gross motor delays; she enjoys assisting children in reaching their full potential to function independently. Faith resides in Pearl, MS where you can find her cheering on the Ole Miss Rebels or Atlanta Braves with her family.

Danielle Arrington, M.S., CCC-SLP

Danielle graduated from Delta State University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Speech & Hearing Sciences. After graduating, she decided to work with the pediatric population in the schools as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant, but she knew that wasn’t where she wanted to end. In 2017, she obtained a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Southern University and A&M College, which enabled her to become a Speech-Language Pathologist. As a Speech-Language Pathologist in a skilled nursing facility, she began working with adults, but always found her way back to the pediatric population. In addition to being trained in LAMP Words for Life, Danielle is also certified in Vital Stim. Her areas of expertise include speech sound disorders, swallowing and feeding disorders, and language disorders. Danielle resides in Flowood, Mississippi with her husband Derrion and miniature schnauzer, Bailey.

Whitney Allen, OTR/L 

Whitney graduated from Mississippi University for Women with her Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Kinesiology in 2016. In 2019, she graduated with her A.A.S degree in Occupational Therapy where she began working as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in outpatient pediatrics, school-based settings, and skilled nursing facilities. In 2023, she graduated from Belmont University in Nashville, TN with a Masters of Science degree in Occupational Therapy. Whitney enjoys treating primitive reflexes, fine motor delays, and neurodivergent disorders. She resides in Brandon, MS with her husband and golden doodle!
